Of particular interest to the KISDA are the 35.6% of women who are most likely housewives or without employment in Northern Kenya. With the right technical assistance and training, this group of women have vast potential for sustainable livelihood projects under community-driven environmental management projects such as the Greening the North Project (GTNP).
